This post highlights one of my favourite clients, and is a bit of a testimonial to the Auditel service. I was Introduced to Coleview Community centre by my accountant, Chris Davies, partner at Ross Brooke. Chris had been already referred us to another client and been pleased with the results we had been able to achieve. I have been able to make significant costs savings at Coleview in the areas of Telephone line rental, call costs, and Electricity spending.
I initially tackled their Electricity spending which was one of their largest business costs. Moving them into a new contract with a new supplier and getting them out of an unnecessary capacity charge, lowering their monthly electricity bill by around 40% .
The second project was to move their telephone lines into a single contract with a more competitive supplier, thus reducing line rental by 40% and call charges by a huge 75%. This also reduced the number of bills being received from 6 to 1!
I have also been busy helping Coleview with their modernisation programme, managing the introduction of merchant card machines for the first time into the centre and also the installation of a new telephone system including DECT phones, for the two key administrators, who were often in parts of the centre nowhere near a phone line.
Carol Kimens is very supportive of the initiatives we have made and I always look forward to giving her an update over a cup of tea in their bar.
Carol said “It has been a pleasure working with Will, he is always available to discuss issues and has made a really positive difference to the costs and running of the centre”.
