iPhone allowed to multi- task

Apple have confirmed that a new application is to be launched which will allow the iPhone to multi- task.  As users will know, currently it is not possible to have apps running in the background,so no sat nav while talking on the phone,  but this  is all set to change. The  new iPhone  OS 4 will be available from the summer, almost certainly as a free download, for the iPhone and from autumn on iPad.   I, for one, can’t wait.
