With less than a week until the launch of the Be Your Own Boss Club event, I hope you take this opportunity to reserve your place in time. The Thames Valley region is renowned for innovation and entrepreneurial ability. The Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Group is therefore delighted to announce the launch of the Be Your Own Boss Club, a place where new and micro-businesses can gain help, inspiration, information, mentoring, support and advice.
If you know anyone who is thinking of starting a business or you would like to contribute your knowledge and experience to the Club, this is the evening for you!
This complimentary informal evening will equip entrepreneurs with everything they need to know about starting up and then boosting their own business.
Support available on the night will include: § Advisors from the Business Advice Service, Thames Valley University and Buckinghamshire County Council Information Services Directorate § Our local Chamber Council Presidents and other experts § Networking Zone for you to start building those all important relationships with other delegates § Thames Valley University – FutureSkills offering advice on their new Foundation Degree Programme in Enterprise & Entrepreneurship, information on affordable business premises through their partnership organisations and behavioural skills assessments § Buckinghamshire County Council will be on hand to give demonstrations of COBRA and MINT – essential search tools which give valuable information on UK and regional market synopses, sector specific market research, local businesses, global enterprises and company headquarters § Mark Ashwell, Wokingham Chamber of Commerce President, and managing director of Trademark Windows Ltd, will share his views on business viability and survival
