VOIP is a growing area of telecommunications in 2009 – in spite of the economic situation. Small businesses are following the trend to take advantage of VOIP technology now that many of the quality problems have been overcome. When this blog appeared a couple of years ago, many businesses were staying away from the service due to reports of poor quality. However, this problem has been pretty well cleared up and quality is now as good as any landline. And set-up costs have also come down.
