About Ian Bergel

Having qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 1975 (ACMA) I spent 30 years in a variety of senior financial roles in industry mostly as Finance Director & Company Secretary. Experienced being gained in a range of companies from businesses with turnover of £2m and 20 staff to businesses with £100m turnover and 800 staff. Throughout my career ‘cost management’ has been at the heart of my role and I am pleased to bring this expertise to my role as an Auditel Consultant. I currently work with manufacturing companies, hotels & restaurants, car dealerships, IT companies and charities. I am also Treasurer and Trustee of a local charity which, I believe, affords me a particular insight into the challenges that they face.
