Before becoming an Auditel Specialist, David worked in the Lloyds of London insurance market, where at different times he was employed as both an Underwriter and Broker.
This provided him with a broad range of experience, working with large and small companies, as well as individuals involved in a very diverse range of work, where often solutions had to be sought to either solve problems or work around difficult issues.
This work he says focused his attention not only on the need to get successful results, but also of the importance of establishing that people are doing what they have been contracted to do, as well as always knowing the status of the ongoing contractual relationship and the importance of taking time and trouble to examine the detail.
This experience and knowledge is proving an invaluable grounding for the work he now does as an Auditel specialist and combined with his eye for detail has resulted in him successfully negotiating several sizeable returns for overpayments that had already been made as well as obtaining some significant savings on compromised agreements for disputed invoices.
