After graduating from the London School of Economics with a degree in economics, David spent 12 years in the advertising industry working as a media planner buyer.
David was responsible for advising clients such as Peugeot, McDonalds and Lloyds TSB on how best to deploy their communications budgets in order to achieve their business objectives. This involved recommendations on media selection (e.g. TV versus national press) and negotiation with media owners to achieve best value.
David Egerton’s greatest success in advertising was reducing the cost conscious low cost airline Go-fly.com’s national press and radio costs by 15% and 45% respectively.
David’s background brings extensive negotiation experience to Auditel as well as strong analytical and project management skills.
In his spare time David likes to keep fit by going to the gym and playing football. He also likes strategy games such as chess and poker.
