£22,000 saved for British Manufacturer

Finding savings is very rewarding but some days I get results that make the hairs stand up on the back of my neck!

Last week I managed to get a saving of 22% on the Electricity costs of a manufacturing client of mine. Getting that sort of saving on a large usage is particularly enjoyable when times are really tough and it doesn’t get much tougher than it is currently for a British manufacturer (writing as I am in the middle of a deep recession).

The best thing for me was the pleasure it gave the Managing Director when I showed him the results. ‘I think we’ll have a second cup of tea to celebrate’ he said.

These results were possible because of the good relationship Auditel has with the major electricity suppliers. Coming from the supply side of the energy market as I do, I know it can be difficult to deal with all the requests for quotes from various directions. In my opinion the open-book, independent, processes Auditel work to which builds trust on both sides and results in greater savings for clients.

Now where’s that next Energy project I’m working on…………
